Digitalizing the Matsu Festival Celebration
The Study and Application of Taiwan Folk Culture and Art Creative Value-added
The Matsu Festival is one of the most important religious celebration in Taiwan. I help a traditional woodcut print artist to use digital technology to transfer the print into animation. The project has preserved the Taiwan folk art and brought the knowledge to the public.
很榮幸能獲邀參予這次版畫 2D動畫的製作，將平面版畫圖像利用掃描，再以數位軟體進行分層與修補，給予骨架，賦予每一位由藝術家所雕刻出來的角色可動性，並將台灣傳統民俗舞蹈精髓帶入角色之中，紀錄台灣民俗文化，共計18幅up，曾參與《圓山國宴展覽》《DAC後幻術》等等。
原作來自府城藝術家-林智信 所創作的世界紀錄最長版畫，費時二十年，總長達408台尺的世界最長的版畫巨作「迎媽祖」，透過版畫的方式將台灣傳統民俗進行紀錄與傳承，曾參與多次國際展演，發揚台灣文化。
